Our ACLC clergy attended a historic gathering in Tokyo this past April, crossing the ocean to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Japan.

During a time when the legal status of the Family Federation is being challenged, five of our dedicated Bishops — Bishop Ronald Thomas, Bishop Abram Dixon, Bishop Dr. Edward Barnett, Bishop Leonard Dew, and Bishop John Watts — brought a powerful message of solidarity to over one hundred second-generation believers.

Their message was clear: Religious freedom has no borders.

Bishop John Watts reminded the youth:

"A place is not the church. You yourselves are the church where God dwells."

Bishop Dr. Edward Barnett declared:

"The state can constrain the body... but what no human power can do is touch the soul itself."

It was a moving sight to see our American clergy and Japanese believers standing as one family under God. Despite the legal obstacles, our Bishops returned with a conviction that the work of God in Japan is unshaken. We continue to pray for the "walls of Jericho" to fall and for the victory of religious liberty worldwide!
