Why This Matters

From Individual Salvation
to Family Salvation

“Most churches have a youth ministry, a women's ministry, and a men's ministry — but very few have a family ministry that brings them all together under one covenant.”

The Marriage Blessing is not simply a ceremony — it is a theological shift that moves the church from focusing solely on individual salvation to embracing God's original ideal: the salvation and sanctification of the family as the fundamental unit of His Kingdom.

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.’”
— Genesis 1:27–28

The Blessing Process

How It Works

The Marriage Blessing follows a four-step journey designed to prepare, purify, and empower couples.

1

Education & Preparation

Couples and clergy study the theology of the Blessing through curriculum and workshops.

2

Renewal Ceremony

A reflective ceremony where couples commit to spiritual renewal and purity before God.

3

Blessing Ceremony

The Marriage Blessing ceremony, where couples rededicate their marriage under God's covenant.

4

Continuation & Support

Ongoing mentorship, community groups, and resources to strengthen marriages for life.

Voices from the Movement

What Pastors Are Saying

The Marriage Blessing brought my congregation together in a way I had never seen before. Couples who were on the verge of separation found renewed commitment, and our entire church family was strengthened.

When clergy from every denomination come together with one heart and one purpose, the barriers of race, religion, and background simply fall away. That is what ACLC has shown me — the living prayer of John 17:21.
