ACLC clergy gathering

Renewing the Nation and the World by Rebuilding the Family

For over 25 years, the American Clergy Leadership Conference has united pastors and churches across denominations around one mission: putting the family back at the center of God's Kingdom.

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
— John 17:21 (KJV)

Our Mission

Restoring the nation by rebuilding the family.

ACLC equips pastors and churches with a ministry most don't have — one centered on marriage and family. We provide the theology, the training, and the practical tools for clergy to bring the Holy Marriage Blessing into their own congregations.

We believe the family, not just the individual, is the cornerstone of God's Kingdom. That conviction drives everything we do.

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”— John 17:21

Our Vision

One global family under God, our Heavenly Parent — built on flourishing marriages that lift communities, restore nations, and realize His Kingdom on earth.

How We Get There

1

Activate the Holy Marriage Blessing as a ministry in churches across the nation

2

Grow the network of Family Church Alliances committed to family-centered ministry

What Makes ACLC Different

From Individual Salvation to Family Salvation

Most churches focus on personal faith — a relationship between the individual and God. ACLC goes further. We believe God's design, established in Genesis, centers on the family as the foundation of His Kingdom. That's why we equip pastors with a complete marriage and family ministry — the Blessed Family Ministry — that most churches simply don't have. It's not a program to add on. It's the missing piece.

Our History

25+ Years of Ministry

May 22, 2000

ACLC Founded

ACLC is founded in Korea when 120 clergy from across the United States gather to affirm the God-given vision of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon for the unification of the Body of Christ.

2000–2015

A National Movement Grows

ACLC grows into a national network of pastors united across denominations. Annual prayer breakfasts, conferences, and pilgrimages to Korea bring clergy together around the Marriage Blessing and family ministry.

2015–Present

Blessing Comes Home

ACLC shifts the Blessing from an international pilgrimage to a local church ministry — empowering pastors to host Holy Marriage Blessings in their own congregations with full training and support from ACLC.

Today

Building the Family Church Alliance Network

Under new leadership, ACLC is building the Family Church Alliance network — a united federation of churches committed to restoring families as the cornerstone of God’s Kingdom in America.

Our Founders

Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon & Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon

Affectionately known as Father and Mother Moon, our founders dedicated their lives to building a world of peace centered on the family. Understanding that the family is the cornerstone of society, they pioneered the Marriage Blessing movement — bringing couples together across national and racial borders — and established hundreds of organizations for world peace, including ACLC.

ACLC is associated with the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, founded by Father and Mother Moon to advance their vision of one global family under God.
