BISHOP MICHAEL SYKES 
NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Rev. Dr. Michael L. Sykes has served as Senior Pastor of the United Missionary Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey since 1988. Born in Memphis Tennessee, Rev. Sykes has preached around the world for over 53 years. He did his undergraduate studies at Montclair State University, and received an honorary doctorate degree from Virginia State Seminary College including a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Study from the Andersonville Theological Seminary. In 2016, Rev. Sykes received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Sacred Theology from the Unification Theological Seminary in New York. An active participant in the United Clergy of the Oranges, Inc., Pastor Sykes has established youth programs, Christian Academy schools, and foreign missions. He ordains ministers and supports new church plants in America. Pastor Sykes serves as a National Executive Board Member of the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC). Dr. Sykes and his wife Rev. Zena Sykes are committed to evangelize internationally the Spirit of Truth; God's Plan and Principle to bring peace to this world by Blessing couples, families, and singles beyond race and religion. They are the co-founders of "Blessing Beyond Borders International" (3B).
