DR. MICHAEL JENKINS
NATIONAL CO-CHAIRMAN EMERITUS
Dr. Michael Jenkins is a pastor and educator with an extensive background in interfaith relations and is one of the architects of the Middle East Peace Initiative (MEPI). Since 2003, MEPI has sponsored over 40 peace pilgrimages to the Holy Land for over 15,000 Ambassadors for Peace. Dr. Jenkins is past Chairman of Operations Holdings, USA, overseeing the business operations of the Unification Movement, including The Washington Times newspaper. and US Marine Corporation, a ship-building and fishing enterprise. Dr. Jenkins is also the Chairman of MCNY Group, which oversees hotel and entertainment holdings including the New Yorker Hotel and Manhattan Center. He is the Past President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification – USA, and former Co-chairman of the Universal Peace Federation – USA. Dr. Jenkins graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Science. He graduated from the Masters of Religious Education program at the Unification Theological Seminary in 1977 and received his Doctor of Ministry from the Unification Theological Seminary in New York in 2013. He is married to the former Reiko Sakata and has 5 children and two grandchildren.
