Our pastors in Detroit are challenged by a host of social problems facing the city and their congregation and thus are keenly interested in the practical application of church teaching. It was not long before the Pastors’ Forum began to meet their need. Rev. On Saturday, May 15th, the Ohio ACLC held a Pastor’s Forum at the College Hill Community Church hosted by Pastor Robert E. Jones. Bishop Jesse Edwards was the guest speaker and over 30 participants attended. Throughout the morning, Bishop Edwards shared openly and enthusiastically about his own journey with the Bible and how the ACLC has enlightened him and revealed a fresh understanding concerning the “New Wine” discussed in the scripture. On February 27th ACLC of New York and the Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) hosted its 5th Annual Black History Month Prayer Breakfast. Each month the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) sponsors a prayer breakfast hosted by a different church.
