We are very grateful to God, Jesus, True Parents. Despite cold weather and snow, 111 attended the 10th annual ACLC and Ambassadors for Peace Appreciation Banquet. Among the guests were Dr. Hightower and 7 of her members; Bishop Edgerton and his daughter; Rev. Yarde; Bishop Teixeira and 3 others; Rev. & Mrs. Watson; Chaplain Bison and many others. We also had Muslim representatives.
We had three purposes for the event. First, to celebrate and honor those who have dedicated themselves to the vision and ideals of ACLC and Family Ministry for the past ten years. Second, to bring active and not-so-active friends of ACLC together and renew friendships. Finally, to provide participants a clear vision of where we need to go as God's representatives in order to rebuild the family, restore the nation and the world.
The high point of the evening was our keynote speaker, Rev. Dr. Jenkins, who encouraged the participants to practice the Word and have confidence in it. We can't save the nation if we keep quiet in the face of negative popular culture. We are like Elijah, who challenged the prophets of Baal. As members of Elijah generation, God has prepared 7000 righteous men and women of God who will not relent and will march together to bring unity of all believers to lift up the family. What we need is a revolution of heart and love. That revolution should start from Boston, right here in this room. Dr. Jenkins challenged the ministers to work together for the next three years to save the nation from the immorality and corruption confronting us.
Despite the economic crisis and all the problems the nation is facing, Dr. Jenkins declared, this is a great time for ministers to proclaim and lift up and believe in God and know that Jesus has anointed Father Moon to lead the way to save the family. Everyone felt the need to capture the moment and be ready to move the nation in the right direction for the next 3 years.

Recognition was given to Bishop Skyers, a dedicated member of ACLC, as well as Dr. Kil Hwan Kim, the founder of the ACLC award banquet in Boston.
