Newark Convocation
-Reflection from Participants-

I am very happy to be with you. I learnt a lot about Father Moon when I came to the group between Jan 2000-Jan 2009. I learnt about Adam & Eve and from Rev. Jesse Edwards about love. God Bless you and I Love Father Moon more.

I like to see God use all the ACLC executives’ staff as keynote speakers, changing at each session. I truly enjoyed the seminar and have (as always) be in sighted concerning the word of God, really truly enjoy the music, praise of each others’ programs. Looking forward in meeting again really inspired and renewed by the spirit. Thank you & love you all.

It was great to hear that Adam was the key responsible person in the fall because he was the one who received commandments from God.
Rev. Emmanuel Abebe

I am convinced that all I heard at this session has made me see everything differently. I thank for the light that has been turned on in me. Thank God for the True Family.

It was an excellent convocation. The best is God’s love for all and I just appreciate Father Moon and what God did for him. I was Blessed by every speaker. I am blessed to be here with ACLC pastors.

This is my first experience at one of the ACLC convocations. It has been an uplifting experience. The highpoint was the special dinner for Rev. Dr. InJin Moon. I appreciate the lectures by Dr. McCarthy, which held many more insights for me to the understanding of scripture. I learned and deeply understand about the life of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon. It has been a joy to meet many people from various cities and countries. God Bless your works.
Rev. Lynell H. Carter
St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tremont, Yonkers, NY

The convocation and blessing ceremony were absolutely phenomenon. Some of the speakers were well prepared in their presentation with information overload. My personal experience was breath-taking and the testing of the spirit was overwhelming and the Glory of God‘s presence came with the entrance of Father and Mother Moon as they walked down the aisle in Divine covering. It was pleasing to hear the heart of Dr. Injin Moon.
Rev. Thelma D. Johnson

This National Convocation has been outstanding. All speakers were excellent and the content of their presentations was informative. The new idea of a National directory for Ministers and ACLC is great networking tool. There is always a need to reach other chapter leaders when we visit their cities and this will be beneficial and easy (convenient). The Abel UN will also be a great way to help other countries and this convocation is another step towards Peace for “One Family Under God.”

I love attending the DP Convocations. I was most inspired by Dr. In Jin Moon. Her Speech and her passion for her family, children, True Parents moved my heart. Her Commitment to Heavenly Father and his will challenge me to surrender more of myself until I am completely empty to establish the Kingdom of God.

We are to reconnect with God, Regain our divinity which was lost through the fall of Adam and Eve. We can do this by practicing the principle of True Love, which unites mind and body, God and Man, Husband and Wife, Parent and Children. We are the dwelling place of God. Dedicate your Relationship To God.
Rev. Dr. Willie Weston Jr.
Hope Evangelistic Ministry International, Chicago, IL

This was my first National ACLC Conference. I would say that I benefitted greatly from the lecture and preaching in terms of inspiration. It is true that whenever DP is presented there is something new to be learnt. It is not only ideas one takes back home from here but also one learns from the different styles of preaching. All the inspiration and ideas nurture confection. One leaves from here strengthened and inspired ready again to serve it up as spiritual food to our own congregation. It is important to take notes. One may be tempted to discount or devalue when so much is offered in lectures and speeches or take it like an inflation of too many words “but the fact is lots of treasures of truth & inspiration one being dispensed in a short time. Another valuable aspect of the conference is making new friends and meeting old ones. It is obvious that the organization of the conference is based on lots of experience.
Thank you for all your effort….till next time

I came knowing nothing about ACLC or the Unification Church. The speakers were articulate and taught the “Vision” very well. I must admit I feel my mind is on overload, but I am eager to read The Principles to get things clear in my mind. I feel the Spirit here. I appreciate the authentic goodness of all the speakers I’ve met or listened to. The Vision of Dr. Moon is precisely what this struggling world needs to understand and embrace. I intend to discover how / where I fit in the big picture and where I can begin to serve.
